Understand the environmental impact of your steel.
InfraBuild's Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) provide independently verified information about the environmental performance of our steel products, helping designers, engineers and project teams make informed material choices.
Clear information. Better decisions.
An Environmental Product Declaration provides independently verified information about a product's environmental impacts across defined stages of its lifecycle.
Our EPDs include Global Warming Potential (GWP), which measures greenhouse gas emissions, along with information about energy, water, resource use and other environmental impacts.
This information can support product specification, embodied carbon assessments and sustainability reporting.
Independently verified
Environmental data assessed by independent specialists.
Consistent measurement
Information prepared using recognised international standards.
Project-ready information
Data to support design, procurement and sustainability assessments.
Lower embodied carbon, independently verified.
In July 2026, InfraBuild published updated EPDs reflecting improvements in the environmental performance of relevant steel products following the commencement of our second renewable electricity power purchase agreement.
For SENSE 600® reinforcing bar, average GWP reduced from 0.982 to 0.790 tCO₂-eq per tonne of product, approximately a 20% reduction.
Supporting more informed project decisions.
Our EPDs can support environmental assessments and material selection for projects using recognised sustainability rating systems.
