Sanjeev Gupta is the Executive Chairman of GFG Alliance, which encompasses a range of global businesses owned by his family. Born into a family of industrialists in Punjab, India, Sanjeev was educated in the UK and graduated with an MA in Economics and Management from the University of Cambridge. He founded Liberty House Group in 1992, while still an undergraduate, as a global commodities trader, growing rapidly across different geographies for over two decades.

In 2015 Sanjeev started his industrial journey buying and restarting his first steel mill in the UK. Since then he has built an international reputation as an ambitious and visionary industrialist acquiring and building major assets in metals, engineering, mining, and renewable energy spread across the world. Sanjeev lives with his wife, Nicola, and their three young children in London.

Francisco Irazusta joined InfraBuild in October 2023 as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, and is a member of the Board.

Francisco has more than 25 years’ experience in senior leadership positions across building products, manufacturing, mining, and steel industries globally.

Prior to joining InfraBuild, Francisco was Chairman and CEO of Spanish seamless pipe manufacturer and distributor Tubos Reunidos, where he oversaw the business’s return to profit in 2022.

He previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Fletcher Building; a listed building products manufacturer based in New Zealand. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of Fletcher Building’s International Businesses, and Chief Executive of Light Building Products.

Francisco has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Alfred University, New York, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from State University of New York, at Alfred University, New York, USA.

Jeffrey is a commercial leader with extensive experience in trading and asset optimisation within the metals & mining and energy industries. He is currently Liberty’s Group Chief Transformation Officer, leading restructuring and turnaround efforts focused on high-value premium products and optimising the Group's asset base in the UK.

Previously, Jeffrey was Executive Director at JP Morgan, where he led the firm’s global ferrous commodity efforts, and he also held a similar role at Koch Industries. He has served as Chairman of the International Steel Trade Association (ISTA) and played a key role in advocating for cost competitiveness in the steel sector. Additionally, he has contributed to industry policy discussions through his involvement with the UK Steel Council.

Jeffrey’s deep industry knowledge and leadership experience bring valuable insight to InfraBuild’s board.

Roland Junck is a steel industry leader with 40 years of experience working at the highest levels in the global metals sector.

Roland was previously the first CEO of the combined ArcelorMittal group in 2006, and throughout his career, he has held prominent roles, including CEO of Nyrstar N.V., a global mining and metals company, and CEO & Chairman of British Steel.

He joined LIBERTY Steel Group as a Non-Executive member in 2020, giving strategic oversight to the group’s decarbonisation plans. In July 2024 Roland was appointed as the President of the French steel producer, Novasco.

Roland holds a Finance qualification from Harvard, an MBA from Sacred Heart University in Luxembourg, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Roland commenced as a non-executive director for InfraBuild in March 2025.

David Barse is an experienced Chief Executive Officer and Board Member with a proven value creation track record across the financial services sector and as an investor in various industries. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of XOUT Capital and Founder of DMB Holdings, a private family office.

He was formerly the CEO of Third Avenue Management for 25 years, a pioneer in fundamental, bottom-up deep value investing. As a Board Member, David has overseen the growth, development and even turnaround of many companies. He was a long-serving Board Member of Covanta Energy Company (formerly traded on the New York Stock Exchange: CVA), an energy from waste business which was successfully sold to a private investment firm. Currently, he serves on the board of Juul Labs, Fortra, and Scion Healthcare. Previously, he served on the board of Vyaire Medical, Alacrity Solutions, Celsius Network, Sirva Worldwide, Heubach Group, Keter Group, West Marine, and Avaya Communications.

David has also served on non-profit boards including the City Parks Foundation, the National Board of the Birthright Foundation and the Big Apple Gold Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. David is an Executive Producer of the Academy Award winning best documentary film ‘Summer of Soul.’

David earned his Juris Doctor at Brooklyn Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University. David joined the InfraBuild board in April 2025.

Dharma Chandran joined the InfraBuild Board as Non-Executive Director in October 2025. Dharma is currently the Chief People Officer at Toll Group, bringing extensive expertise in human resources, strategy, legal and corporate affairs.

His career spans some of Australia’s leading corporations, including Westpac, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Leighton Holdings, KPMG, and Towers Perrin. He has also served as an Advisory Board and Panel Member for several New South Wales Government institutions and has held Non-Executive Director roles with a large private retail organisation, two ASX-listed companies, and a not-for-profit economic think tank.

Simon is Global Group General Counsel of GFG Alliance and a member of the InfraBuild Board of Directors. Simon has broad experience in senior leadership positions across a range of sectors, particularly in the regulatory sector. Simon chairs our board audit risk committee having previously served on several governance committees, building solid experience in oversight, risk management, and structured governance practice.

Previously Simon has worked at international law firm Allen & Overy Shearman LLP in their banking and regulatory department and the following banks: FBN Bank UK; Bank of London and The Middle East plc, Goldman Sachs Inc; and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Simon is a passionate supporter, fundraiser and Board Trustee of UK charity Alive and Kicking and is a current cycling world record holder.
