DuraGal® Galvanized Steel RHS and SHS – Structural Tube

DuraGal® Galvanized Steel RHS and SHS

InfraBuild Steel Centre stocks DuraGal® RHS (rectangular hollow section) and DuraGal® SHS (square hollow section) galvanized steel products.

DuraGal® RHS and DuraGal® SHS from InfraBuild Steel Centre are high-strength cold formed hollow sections that are hot dip galvanized to AS/NZS 4792 and have a minimum average coating mass of 100 grams per square metre applied to the interior and exterior of the section for superior protection.

All DuraGal® sections are available as C450PLUS structural tube. C450PLUS structural tube achieves the highest strength grade, C450L0, of AS/NZS 1163, while maintaining the elongation and formability of C350L0, providing no loss of ductility or workability.

How we're making an impact

Tube Icon2

Circular steel manufacturing

We recycle scrap steel and transform it into new steel products through a continuous circular process. Keeping materials in use reduces waste and supports resource efficiency.

EAF Icon

Renewable energy transition

We're increasing the use of renewable electricity across our operations as part of our decarbonisation pathway. This helps reduce emissions associated with steel production.

People Icon

Lower embodied carbon solutions

Innovations such as SENSE 600® help customers reduce material use while maintaining structural performance. Less steel can mean lower embodied carbon outcomes.

Sites

Local manufacturing

Manufacturing steel in Australia strengthens sovereign capability, reduces supply chain complexity and supports local jobs and communities.

1.4M tonnes

of scrap steel recycled annually

77%

fewer greenhouse gas emissions from electric arc furnace steelmaking compared with traditional blast furnace steelmaking*

SENSE Solutions

Helping customers build smarter

Sustainability and productivity don't need to compete. Through higher-strength steel, engineering expertise and advanced manufacturing, we're helping customers reduce material use, improve construction efficiency and lower embodied carbon. It's a practical approach that delivers better outcomes for projects, communities and the built environment.
